Wild Kin Circle

Nature is our greatest teacher- For our children to know they are one with nature, and their responsibility to the earth- as custodians of this land, they must spend time immersed in and connected to nature.

A 100% outdoor program. We come together in circle, embracing our ancestral ways of learning through, song, story, handcraft, cooking, flowing on to play, exploration, climbing and more

We aim to support children to lead their own play, Weaving in opportunities for new skills and creative spaces, full of joy, wonder and discovery.

Open to all ages- we believe in the imporance of all coming together and the beautiful aspects that each individual brings to a village. We dont agree with societys push to put individuals into a box, dependant on age, gender or any other components. We can all learn from each other

Wild kin circle, building a village for parents, caregivers, children and families to share, learn, grown, discover and blossom in the nurturing space of nature.

wild kin circle is not only for children it is a space for all, to support each other and be supported, to connect and to thrive.

SEVERE WEATHER CANCELLATION

Severe weather compromises the safety of all participants. The severity of the weather event can pose different challenges for different sites and may include but not be limited to thunderstorms, high winds with the risk of branches falling, flash flooding, extreme tides or wave action (in coastal sites).  If severe weather is forecast and a new venue cannot be found, the session may be cancelled in advance (the day before or earlier) we are able to offer you a credit towards another session with The Wild Thrive.

If a session is cut short or cancelled half way through due to a severe weather event or unsafe conditions, we are unfortunately unable to refund the days fees.

WET WEATHER

We are an 'all weather' program meaning that all of our programs go ahead in wet weather as long as it is safe. We put up temporary rain shelters but participants will very likely still get wet (usually by choice). Please ensure all attendees are appropriately dressed and prepared.

PAYMENT

Fees must be payed up front (for the upfront price) via Paypal, or Direct Deposit or by other payment options by prior arrangement before a program starts. This gives The Wild Thrive time to organise resources, cancel/rearrange programs, staff, location etc if we don’t meet minimum requirements for that particular program unfortunately the program will be unable to go ahead. If an attendee registers but does not pay their place is not reserved and they will be unable to attend.

Absence (sick) Policy

Because fees, costs, resources and staffing are based on particular ratios, The Wild Thrive unfortunately cannot offer ‘make-up’ days or offer refunds if an attendee is absent due to illness if less then 48hours notice is given

we do kindly ask that your child does not attend if ill, to avoid putting other attendees at risk.

CANCELATION POLICY

The Wild Thrive is committed to providing our families with the opportunity to partake in nature activities, however our numbers are limited by our ratios. When a family cancels, they prevent another family from participating in our program. We also book our activity providers and staff based on a certain minimum number of children.so unfortunently no refunds- you can pass your ticket onto someone else (they are required to fill out registration form)

Program Cancellation

If a program is cancelled due to minimum numbers not being met, your family will be entitled to either a full refund or credit.
